JUDY FONTYN- ARTIST, MIXED MEDIUMS
I am originally from Toronto, now living in Bayshore Villiage in Brechin, Ontario. I fell in love with creating in my high school years, and continued many mediums , I always seem to come back to watercolors and acrylic paint.
My husband and I opened a gallery in 2016 called Coach House Gallery in Orillia, Ont. in 2016 and just closed it 2019 to have more time to travel and enjoy life.
As an artist I always notice the beauty of nature and I try to capture this in my work and hope that it evokes a memory or a feeling to the people viewing it.
Nature always provides endless inspiration for me to continue pursuing my love for painting. To create is an amazing state of being in which I have been able to do now full time for about 8 years.
I feel privileged and grateful to be able to continue this journey of a creative life!
On this side of the gallery was all my work, including painted wine glasses, vases, paintings, mosaics.
The second year I expanded to the other side of the building and showed many different artists work.
